Happy New Year 2011 Newsletter We survived the recession! We have product! We have 133 members and our first member from CANADA - Dee Daniels plus two from Holland and one from Rome! We're on the move in the new decade and nothing can stop us now! The crowning accomplishment of the first 3 years of our non-profit organization is the compilation CD featuring 10 beautiful compositions by 10 fabulous members of WOMEN IN JAZZ SOUTH FLORIDA, INC. Since December 21, we distributed 250 CDs and more are going. To move the sales forward, we're offering members the opportunity to have membership fee waived ($50 beginning Jan 1, 2011), if you prove that 5 CDs were purchased by your friend. (Deadline: March 1, 2011) To get membership FREE for one year, email Joan at divajc47@yahoo.com, when your friend purchases or downloads our compilation CD. Updated January 25, 2011 [Fort Lauderdale, FL] Women in Jazz South Florida, Inc. is in it's 4th year. In the past three years, we've impacted our community greatly by bringing music performances by women and men to seniors, students and the community-at-large, through grants from Broward County Cultural Division, Broward Schools, the Cities of Fort Lauderdale, Lauderhill and Miami Beach.
